How quickly can I be seen?

We keep emergency appointments open every day and aim to see you the same day or within 24 hours — often within a few hours. Call us on 020 8657 1291 and we'll find you the earliest slot.

Do you see new and out-of-area patients?

Yes. New patients are always welcome — including those visiting the area, on dental insurance, or whose regular dentist is away or can't see them quickly. You don't need to be registered with us to be seen in an emergency.

How much does an emergency appointment cost?

An emergency assessment is £70 during normal working hours, or £150–200 for out-of-hours appointments on evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Any treatment you need afterwards is clearly explained and priced before we begin — no surprises.

I'm really nervous about the dentist. Can you help?

Absolutely. Dr Patel is known for putting nervous patients at ease — taking time to listen, explaining everything before doing it, and working at a pace you're comfortable with. Many of our patients tell us they're no longer frightened of the dentist.

Should I go to A&E instead?

For most dental problems — toothache, broken teeth, lost fillings, abscesses — a dental clinic is far more useful than A&E, as we have the tools to actually fix the problem. However, go straight to A&E for severe facial swelling affecting your breathing or swallowing, uncontrollable bleeding, suspected facial fractures, or a high fever with confusion.
